Protocol - What is the evidence of the impact on family wellbeing of giving economic resources (e.g. microcredit, cash or asset transfers) to women relative to the impact of giving them to men?

This is a protocol for a systematic review

Abstract

This is the protocol for a systematic review which focuses on evidence on the differential impact of transferring unearned assets (particularly cash and credit) to women and men in low- and middle-income countries. The impact of interest in this review is family well-being, which encompasses a broad range of indicators including health, education, employment and income of the various members of a household and of the household as a whole. The protocol provides background information and details of the methods to be used.

The review has been published:The impact of economic resource transfers to women versus men: a systematic review
