Abstract

BUmug-1 mung bean was released in Bangladesh in 2000 for stable and high yield with combined resistance to Mungbean yellow mosaic virus (MYMV) and Cercospora leaf spot (CLS) (caused by Cercospora cruenta Sac. or Cercospora canescens Ellis & Martin). BUmug-1 is an early maturing, bold-seeded material with synchronous pod maturity.
