Regulatory tools: Customer involvement.
Abstract
Customer involvement in regulation of water supply is discussed, including outlines of research findings from the case study countries. Risks and constraints of customer involvement, ways of involving low-income customers, and customer involvement in practice, are considered. Focus Group discussions in low-income areas of the Philippines, Zambia and Uganda are summarized.
