This workshop was attended by 25 participants working in the fields of early warning and risk assessments for weather-related hazards in Kenya and elsewhere in the Horn of Africa. The objective of the workshop was to consult with a focused group of researchers and end users to map current research initiatives and to elicit views on priorities for future research.

This report has been produced for Evidence on Demand with the assistance of the UK Department for International Development (DFID) contracted through the Climate, Environment, Infrastructure and Livelihoods Professional Evidence and Applied Knowledge Services (CEIL PEAKS) programme, jointly managed by HTSPE Limited and IMC Worldwide Limited.
