Security and justice evidence mapping update
This report is an update of the previous security and justice evidence mapping published in 2015
Abstract
This evidence mapping was conducted to identify the empirical evidence on the outcomes of security and justice interventions. It acts as an update to a 2015 version of the map (2015 map and ) but with an expanded scope and updated search. It includes a rigorous review of the security and justice evidence base. Selected sources, including journal indices, online research and evaluation repositories, resource centres, and experts, were searched.
The findings are presented in the form of an interactive database and evidence gap map (see link below), which provides an accessible and visual representation of where the evidence for security and justice programming is deepest and where the key limitations lie. The accompanying report provides a narrative description, including identifying potential areas for future research.
