Seed quality research on freshwater finfish supply networks in Asia.
Abstract
The project examined the importance of seed quality of broodstock for aquaculture. Much variation in quality was perceived between suppliers of stock and this had an impact on fish survival, post-stocking. Further activities have been drawn up to devise a system of best practice for rearing and monitoring stock.
