STRIVE Learning Lab 18. How to Calculate DALYS per HIV Infection Averted

Abstract

Disability-adjusted life years (DALYS) have been widely used as a health outcome that allows for comparison of interventions across disease areas and as an input into cost effectiveness analyses. DALYS are also used to estimate the global burden of disease. This learning lab will provide an overview of how to estimate DALYs averted based on infections averted.
