Synopsis

Describes the development, through public-private sector partnership with a commercial horticulture producer, of techniques for the production of biocontrol agents for the integrated management of root knot nematodes on tomato and other horticultural crops and promotion via networks of smallholder outgrowers. Also reports on the development and implementation of regulatory mechanisms for the approval and registration of biocontrol agents in Kenya that are applicable elsewhere.
