Abstract

A Pilot Project on control of Newcastle Disease was implemented by Bhodal Milk Producers Cooperative Society (BMPCS) and GALVmed in 2 blocks (Morada and Rasgovindpur) of Mayurbhanj district.

The objective of the project was to establish a sustainable backyard poultry vaccination network through a cadre of Community Animal Health Workers (CAHWs) for delivery of services at the farmers’ doorstep. This document details this project and its outcomes.
