Sustainable tourism linkages. Case study - Sea moss production in Praslin, St. Lucia.

Abstract

Tourism is the world's largest industry and a significant contributor to regional income and jobs and, therefore, regional development. The case of seamoss production in St Lucia illustrates many possibilities for enhancing linkages between local employment generation and tourism, towards greater sustainability for both.
