Targeting and scaling up of agricultural water management interventions in the White Volta Basin, Ghana [MSc Thesis]
Abstract
The Upper West Region (UWR) of Ghana is characterized as poor with food insecurity and migration down south being on the ascendency especially during the dry season. This study therefore sought to identify the existing Agricultural Water Management (AWM) interventions available in the region, assess their biophysical and socio-economic parameters and up-scale the successful ones to other areas that have similar characteristics.
