The CLP's Approach to Selecting Core Participant Households
Abstract
The CLP aims to improve livelihoods, incomes and food security of over one million people living on island chars in NW Bangladesh. The second phase of the programme (CLP-2, 2010-2016) is focusing on 67,000 extreme poor households, known as core participant households (CPHHs), which will receive a package of support including a productive asset of their choice, stipends, and access to services including water, sanitation and essential healthcare. This briefing outlines how the CPHHs are selected.
