Abstract

This helpdesk review has drawn primarily on evidence from systematic reviews and synthesis studies focused on the effectiveness of school grants for the improvement of (i) equitable access to quality education, and (ii) the student learning outcomes.

K4D helpdesk reports provide summaries of current research, evidence and lessons learned. This report was commissioned by the UK Department for International Development.
