Abstract

This report is an output of the Economic and Social Research Council (ESRC) / UK Department for International Development ‘Pathways to Poverty’ Alleviation Research Grant lead by the University of Sussex in collaboration with the University of Rwanda, Kigali, Rwanda and the Cape Peninsula University of Technology, Cape Town, South Africa (2014-2017). The research was carried out in partnership with on-the-ground researchers in the 2 participating countries and sought to contribute both to theory and practice in the field of teachers, education and peacebuilding, developing multiple theoretically-informed, policy-relevant outputs.
