Towards a Progressive Framework for Migration.
Abstract
The author presents a vision of what a 'progressive' approach to migration might look like, stressing the issues of process, and envisioning what kind of society the UK wants to be, not just nationally but also internationally. The aim of the session was to encourage policy makers to 'step back' from the day-to-day realities of policy making and delivery in order to first identify what it is exactly we are trying to achieve.
