Using the Choice Framework to situate cases of collective action in capabilities thinking: The example of public procurement.

Abstract

Paper in Maitreyee, the E-Bulletin of the international Human Development and Capabilities Association (HDCA) which brings together more than 700 capabilities scholars across the disciplines, as well as development practitioners. This was a landmark special issue of the E-Bulletin on \"Collectivity in the Capabilities Approach\". The paper drew on the ESRC-DFID Choices project as the example and was reviewed by two editors.
