Abstract

This literature review was carried out in support of the Growth in Rural Economy and Agriculture in Tajikistan (GREAT) Framework and Finance for Private Sector Development in Tajikistan (FFPSD) programme.

It gives an introduction to the private sector in Tajikistan, an overview of the bottlenecks for private sector development, and identifies competitive sub-sectors, including the constraints and opportunities in these sub-sectors.
