Who is Using Modern Methods of Contraception in Malawi? Evidence from the Malawi Demographic and Health Survey 2000.

Abstract

The background to the study is given. It aimed to identify the characteristics of the women most likely to use/not use modern methods of contraception in Malawi. The study used information from 9074 women who were interviewed as part of the 2000 Malawi demographic and health survey. Results, conclusions and policy implications are briefly presented.
