This study used Demographic and Health Surveys (DHS) data from Ethiopia, Kenya, Rwanda, Tanzania, and Uganda

Abstract

  • Measurement validation of DHS data shows 3 domains of women’s empowerment.

  • Domains include human and social assets, gendered beliefs, and decision-making.
