Abstract

This study focused on three main issues: firstly, assessing the potential for self supply in the SNNP region; secondly, understanding the key issues for accelerating effective household investment in family wells and their upgrading; and thirdly, defining the main barriers to adoption of the approach and examining whether and how these might be overcome.
