Abstract

In 2012, representatives from the national regulatory authorities in the East African region formed an interim Technical Working Group. The group successfully developed a harmonised process for the registration of veterinary vaccines, referred to as Immunological Veterinary Products (IVPs), with technical and financial support from GALVmed.

This is an output from the ‘Global Alliance For Livestock Veterinary Medicines (GALVmed): Phase 2 – Protecting Livestock and Saving Human Lives’ programme
