Report on the 4th International Zinc Symposium, held in Brazil in 2015, with160 participants from 38 countries
Abstract
The 4th International Zinc Symposium was held in Sao Paulo, Brazil, from 15 to 17 October 2015 with about 160 participants from 38 countries. The presentations made at the Symposium mainly focused on:

discussing novel agricultural practices addressing Zinc deficiency in terms of improving productivity and nutritional quality of food crops,
-
reviewing the latest available knowledge on the role of Zinc in plant physiology and molecular biology

analyzing the effects of Zinc deficiency in soils and diet on crop production and human health, respectively. T
The event was organised jointly by the International Zinc Association, the International Fertilizer Industry Association in collaboration with international HarvestPlus Programme.
