The Highways Agency and coach operator, National Express, have reached a landmark agreement to work together to improve the customer experience for everybody who uses England’s motorways and A roads.
The Highways Agency will be helping holidaymakers have happy holidays by keeping traffic moving over the August bank holiday weekend, ensuring that 98 per cent of England’s motorways and other major roads are free of roadworks.
More than 550 miles of Highways Agency roadworks will be lifted over Easter to help bank holiday journeys go smoothly.
