Use a V888 form to apply for information from DVLA's vehicle records.
To find out what information DVLA holds about you, and your vehicle, you can make a subject access request (SAR). The quickest way is to fill in the form and submit by email.
Companies who want to apply for the name and address of a registered keeper at a specific date from DVLA’s records must use the V888/2A form.
DVLA can provide certain companies and buyers with sets of specialist vehicle data, including the 'bulk data set', 'anonymised data set' and vehicle mileage data
Companies should use form D888/1 to check a driver’s entitlement to drive.
Companies who want to apply for information from DVLA’s records other than the name and address of the registered keeper of a vehicle on a specific date must use the V888/2B form.
Companies who issue parking or trespass charge notices and want to apply for information from DVLA’s vehicle records must use the V888/3 form.
Don’t include personal or financial information like your National Insurance number or credit card details.
