This document provides a overall guide to the suite of publications in the safety case.
The three main reports of the generic Disposal System Safety Case (DSSC) cover transport, operational and environmental safety.
Environmental, socio-economic and health aspects of the GDF are addressed in the following assessments.
The DSSC contains a number of detailed assessments for different aspects of the safety case. The first of these relate to transport safety.
The long term environmental safety of radioactive waste in a GDF is addressed in the Post-Closure Safety Assessment.
