Blesma, The Limbless Veterans

Blesma is a national charity that supports armed forces veterans who have experienced limb or sight loss.

Blesma, The Limbless Veterans supports serving and ex-service personnel who have experienced:

  • loss, or loss of use, of a limb
  • loss of an eye or loss of sight

They provide tailored, one-to-one support to help veterans and their families rebuild their lives.

Their services include:

  • practical assistance with mobility, prosthetics and equipment
  • financial and benefits advice
  • emotional support
  • advocacy

They also offer a range of activities to help members regain confidence, independence and a sense of community. From adaptive sports and hobbies to social events and support groups, Blesma creates opportunities for veterans to connect and thrive.

To be eligible for Blesma membership, you must have served in the armed forces and have experienced limb loss or visual impairment.

No medical referral is required.
