About the East Durham Veterans Trust

Based in Seaham, the East Durham Veterans Trust is a charity that provides mental health support through counselling and peer support groups across the North East.

They offer counselling programmes as well as an in-depth social inclusion programme, which includes walking, gardening, woodcarving, craft, art, model making, coffee morning, photography and breakfast clubs.

Their case workers can also offer practical support around housing, benefits, Personal Independence Payment claims, pensions, military pensions, white goods, food and fuel poverty.
