The Forces Pension Society is a subscription-based membership organisation that provides its members with guidance on armed forces pensions and ensures the fair treatment of all members on pensions matters.

The Forces Pension Society is an independent, not-for-profit organisation that:

• assists members in applying for their pensions
• audits forecasts provided by the scheme administrator, Veterans UK
• gives guidance on Annual Allowance, Scheme Pays, Added Pension, Dependants’ Benefits and how to optimise pensions for tax-free capital or income

It holds the Ministry of Defence to account through the Armed Forces Pension Scheme Board.
