About Phoenix Heroes

Phoenix Heroes supports veterans by providing them with access to outdoor activities.

It’s a not-for-profit organisation that provides activities such as fishing, football and allotment gardening.

They are committed to helping veterans overcome the challenges they face when transitioning from military to civilian life, and they achieve this by providing opportunities for veterans to come together and build a sense of community and belonging.

They also provide support to veterans who are struggling with mental health difficulties and finding the transition on leaving the armed forces a challenge.

Their activities are designed to promote physical and mental wellbeing, helping veterans to reconnect with nature and find a sense of purpose and fulfilment.
