The Royal Air Forces Association is a charity and membership organisation that provides a range of services to the RAF community, from physical and mental health support to help with finances and social isolation.

About the Royal Air Forces Association

The Royal Air Forces Association (RAFA) can provide support to all members of the RAF community (serving personnel, veterans and their dependants).

The support they offer includes:

  • financial assistance
  • guidance on accessing support and assistance with housing adaptions
  • Armed Forces Compensation Scheme guidance and support
  • wellbeing, welfare and befriending services
  • the RAF Families Federation Service, which operates:
    • early-years childcare and pre-school and after-school provision across MoD sites
    • holiday facilities
    • retirement living in supported or independent facilities
