Information for visitors to the British Embassy

Visitors to the British Embassy Tehran will be subject to security procedures on arrival. Visitors and their baggage/personal belongings will be subject to search. Access will be denied to any person refusing to comply with the search. Visitors are not permitted to bring in items such as mobile phones, laptops, cameras or other electrical equipment. The embassy is unable to offer a storage facilities to visitors (with the exception of mobile phones). When planning a visit to the embassy, visitors should consider leaving such items elsewhere before arrival. This is standard practice across our network of embassies.
