Piper PA-25-235 Pawnee, G-BFPR

Summary:

During approach to the grass Runway 13 the pilot reported experiencing an unusual increase in his rate of descent which resulted in a heavier than normal landing. During the ground roll he noticed that the right wing was lower than the left. This was caused by a bungee failure of the right main landing gear leg. The wind at the time of the accident was from 110° at 15 kt.
