Wag-Aero Acro Trainer Cuby, G-BLDD

Summary:

The pilot flew his tail wheeled aircraft to Cromer airfield for a landing on Runway 04. He reported that there was a 6 kt crosswind from the left and during the landing roll the aircraft hit a bump and became airborne. On touching down for a second time, the aircraft ground looped to the left before it departed the left side of the runway. At this point the right mainwheel entered a small ditch where the right landing gear buckled, the aircraft dropped onto its right wing and the propeller blades struck the ground. The pilot, who was uninjured, exited the aircraft through the cockpit door.
