Emergency alert sent to River Roe and River Ive from Highbridge to Stockdalewath
From the Environment Agency. Severe flooding is happening now, 23rd May on River Roe and River Ive from Highbridge to Stockdalewath, in the Stockdalewath Area in the parish of Dalston. Flood waters are expected to rise rapidly. Flooding is likely to cut off the area. Floodwater is a threat to life - do not enter. Remain in a safe location. Flood water may contain dangerous debris. Be aware of your surroundings and stay safe. Do not drive through or attempt to enter flood water. Follow instructions of emergency services in your area. Call 999 if in immediate danger. Issued by Plymouth City Council. The WWII bomb found in Keyham will be transported today 23 February 2024 at 2pm to Torpoint Ferry slipway via Saltash Road. A time limited cordon will be in place along this route between 2pm until an estimated 5pm. You are asked to leave and stay away from the cordoned area for this time period.
