What we do

We’re responsible for hearing appeals from:

• UK reserve forces personnel who want to challenge a decision to turn down their request for exemption from service
• employers of reservists who want to challenge a decision to turn down their request for exemption from service

We also hear appeals about decisions regarding financial assistance for reservists or their employers.

Who we are

We are an independent tribunal which makes decisions in legal disputes around call-up to the UK reserve forces.
