The Food and Feed Hygiene and Safety (Amendment) (Northern Ireland) (EU Exit) Regulations 2019 (withdrawn)

The purpose of this Statutory Instrument is to ensure Northern Ireland legislation relating to food and feed hygiene and safety continues to operate effectively after the UK leaves the EU.

The government withdrew this statutory instrument from consideration.

  1. This Statutory Instrument was withdrawn on 9th June 2019. This was due to drafting errors identified in these regulations by the Joint Committee on Statutory Instruments (JCSI) in its report of 10 May 2019. A corrected version was re-laid on the 11th June 2019.

  2. This SI was laid before Parliament on 25th March 2019 under the negative procedure.

  3. Both sifting committees have given their recommendation for this statutory instrument.
