The Genetically Modified Organisms (Amendment) (England) (EU Exit) Regulations 2018

The Genetically Modified Organisms (Amendment) (England) (EU Exit) Regulations 2018 is being made under section 8(1) of the European Union (Withdrawal) Act 2018 to amend retained EU legislation and existing United Kingdom legislation. This instrument ensures that EU and UK legislation establishing the regime that controls and enforces the movement, release and marketing of genetically modified organisms will continue to be operable when the UK leaves the European Union.
