Details
Projects are sought to:-
- support female participants within SMEs to develop Leadership and Management Skills. This is to support business growth, facilitate progression into management positions and support business continuity where there are skills shortages.
- support employed BME participants and/or BME graduates to address ethnic minority disadvantage in the Leeds City Region labour market;
- tackle the deep seated barriers to stay or regain work as required, for individuals aged over 50 and already in employment, especially those at risk of automation or have recently become unemployed;
- support for migrants who are employed and who are looking for career progression or support to improve their skills or employment situation or need help to maximise their existing skills.
Projects should make best use of available resources; reduce duplication by integrating national and local employment and other support services; and enable people to access sustainable work and progress.
All proposals are expected to deliver skills provision as part of the offer which offers both accredited and non-accredited skills training which is innovative, responsive to local skills needs. Project activities must support the delivery of Priority Axis 2, Investment Priority 2.1 Enhancing equal access to lifelong learning of the European Social Fund Operational Programme

Value
Approximately £10,000,000 of funding is available.
Deadlines
Full application deadline: 12 February 2019
Completion date
The project must be completed no later than 3 years and 6 months after the proposed start date.
