Following this call for evidence, discussions at the public evidence sessions and initial analysis, an interim report which sets out the Airline Insolvency Review’s initial conclusions, emerging thinking and next steps has been published.
The government received over 30 responses to this Airline Insolvency Review call for evidence and has published a summary of the responses received.

Call for evidence description
The Airline Insolvency Review will look to ensure airlines can wind down with the minimum impact on passengers and the taxpayer.
This publication:
- provides an introduction to the issues
- invites initial views on possible solutions
- sets out the timelines and the programme of work that we propose to carry out
- explains how to get involved with the process
