Call for evidence description

On 15 October 2015, the Home Secretary wrote to the Chair of the MAC to commission them to examine if there is a national shortage of nurses or specific nursing job titles.

The MAC has today (3 November 2015), issued a call for evidence in relation to this commission. The call for evidence sets out the questions on which the MAC seeks views and evidence from partners as well as how to respond.

There will be an initial partner event in 2 Marsham Street, London on 12 November 2015 to discuss the issues raised. The MAC is also keen to come out and visit partners.

The closing date for responses to be received by the MAC is Thursday 31 December 2015. Partners are strongly encouraged to submit their evidence before this date.
