The Institute for Apprenticeships and Technical Education (the Institute) oversees the development, approval and publication of apprenticeship standards. The process of apprenticeship development is detailed on the Institute’s website.
The Skills for Health Healthcare Apprenticeship Standards Online (HASO) website provides information on other recently approved apprenticeships in the health sector.

Status reports
Public Health Practitioner
The Public Health Practitioner apprenticeship standard at level 6 was approved for delivery by the Institute for Apprenticeships and Technical Education in 2019.
Community Health and Wellbeing Worker
The Community Health and Wellbeing Worker apprenticeship standard at level 3 was approved for delivery by the Institute for Apprenticeships and Technical Education in 2021.
