This report details the results of a workshop held on 29 March 2019.
The workshop was based around a discussion of what level of employer demand exists for an advanced (or higher) level apprenticeship standard.
The proposed level 3 apprenticeship standard would support the training and development of health and wellbeing workers who are in community-centered roles.
The workshop covered:
- the level of employer demand for an apprenticeship standard
- whether a common ‘occupational identity’ is shared by various job roles with different titles
- actions that could be taken to develop a level 3 apprenticeship standard
The workshop was attended by employers from a range of sectors (including charities, social enterprises and skills councils).
