Clean Bus Technology Fund
Information on the Clean Bus Technology Fund, including successful bids and guidelines on how local councils in England can apply.
The Department for Transport (DfT) launched the Clean Bus Technology Fund 2015 on 10 September 2015. Local councils in England were invited to apply to the department for grants of up to £500,000.
This funding will be used to upgrade buses with technology to reduce emissions in areas of poor air quality. The total fund available for this scheme was originally £5 million. However, as a result of the high quality of the bids received the government has increased the fund to £7 million.
