These publications form part of the Home Office’s response to Recommendation 28 of the Windrush Lessons Learned Review, which states:

“The department should publish comprehensive annual workforce data, so it can monitor progress.”

The statistics included go beyond the recommendation and cover broader identity categories, examining representation by grade where possible, and by different areas within the Home Office.
