Mpox (monkeypox): guidance

There are 2 main types (clades) of mpox, clade I and clade II. Clade I mpox is classified as a high consequence infectious disease (HCID), and clade II mpox is not. This page provides further information and guidance for the public, professionals and service providers on clade I and clade II mpox.
