Nurse review of research councils
Information about the independent review of UK research councils.
Sir Paul Nurse led a review, with research councils, to explore how they can support research most effectively. The aim was to ensure that the UK continues to support world-leading science, and invests public money in the best possible way.
The review was announced as part of the government’s science and innovation strategy in December 2014.
