Science and innovation audits
Science and innovation audits help local and regional areas to map their research and innovation strengths and identify areas of potential global competitive advantage.
The Department for Business, Energy and Industrial Strategy (BEIS) invited consortia, formed around geographic and technological themes, to apply to be involved in the science and innovation audit (SIA) process.
The consortia are made up of:
- business
- universities
- research and innovation organisations
- Local Enterprise Partnerships (LEPs)
- or equivalent organisations in the devolved administrations and other collaborators from across the private and public sectors
