Consultation description

This document sets out proposals for adapting Monitor’s Risk assessment framework to address financial risk at independent providers of essential healthcare services. These essential healthcare services are called ‘commissioner requested services’ (CRS).

Following this consultation, Monitor will publish an updated Risk assessment framework with a section for independent providers of essential healthcare services. This will apply from 1 April 2014.
