We're seeking your views on plans to stop the publication of notifications of private fostering arrangements in England.

Consultation description

We’re proposing to close the annual data collection and publication of notifications of private fostering arrangements.

Instead, we intend to gather information on private fostering through the existing annual children in need (CIN) census.

We’re interested in the views of:

  • local authorities
  • government officials
  • parliamentarians
  • academics
  • voluntary and community sector organisations
  • those with an interest in private fostering data
