Consultation description

The Department for Transport is seeking feedback on proposed measures for major airports designed to improve financial resilience including:

  • a continuity of service plan
  • a requirement for the regulator to meet additional switching on conditions for ring fencing

The government announced a package of reforms to promote the financial resilience of major airports in October 2009. This consultation sets out those proposals.
